Friends of the Edisto wants to promote opportunites for people and groups to communicate and build relationships that will advance our mission to protect and enhance the Edisto River and its watershed.
We stage events along the banks of the river which include food, fellowship, and fun, with music, river activities, education, and outreach. These events provide opportunity to meet and network with other Edisto enthusiasts and talk about issues affecting the river in beautiful riverside settings. FRED events also provide opportunities to recruit new members, renew existing memberships, and build our connections with the river and the people who enjoy it.
